North Lido is famous for its "trails" that are sometimes used for those wishing to be discrete. There are no amenities at Sarasota's Gay Beach so you will want to being everything you would need for a day at the beach. Use the first beach access located at John Ringling Blvd at 1-85 John Ringling Blvd Parking, then follow the beach to the right for 700 ft.
